अथ गोकुलम् आसाद्य
गोप-गोपी-गणाकुलम्
रूपं दधार सा दिव्यं
वपुः षोडश-वर्षिकम्
atha gokulam āsādya
gopa-gopī-gaṇākulam
rūpaṃ dadhāra sā divyaṃ
vapuḥ ṣoḍaśa-varṣikam
atha—then; gokulam—Gokula; āsādya—attaining; gopa—of gopas; gopī—and gopīs; gaṇa—with multitudes; ākulam—filled; rūpam—a form; dadhāra—assumed; sā—she; divyam—glorious; vapuḥ—form; ṣoḍaśa—sixteen; varṣikam—years.
English translation of verse 1.13.3:
Coming to Gokula, which was filled with many gopas and gopīs, the demoness assumed the form of a splendid sixteen-year old girl.
