The Buddha Carita (Saddharma-pundarika) by Asvaghosa a famous Sanskrit text revolving around the live and exploits of the Buddha. The Buddha Carita (Buddhacarita) is written in the style of a Kavya (or Mahakavya, epic poetry) and extant original Sanskrit text consists of roughly 1,000 metrical verses.

Verse 1.54

अथौ निमित्तैश्च तपोबलाच्च तज्जन्म जन्मान्तकरस्य बुद्ध्वा ।
शाक्येश्वरस्यालयमाजगाम सद्धर्मतर्षादसितो महार्षिः ॥ ५४ ॥

athau nimittaiśca tapobalācca tajjanma janmāntakarasya buddhvā |
śākyeśvarasyālayamājagāma saddharmatarṣādasito mahārṣiḥ || 54 ||

Then having learned by signs and through the power of his penances this birth of him who was to destroy all birth, the great seer Asita in his thirst for the excellent Law came to the palace of the Shakya king.
