This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 86.24

एष मार्गो ब्रह्मपुरे एष मार्गः सनातनः ।
सद्धर्मविद्भिर् आख्यातो ब्रह्मलोकोपपत्तये ॥ २४ ॥

eṣa mārgo brahmapure eṣa mārgaḥ sanātanaḥ |
saddharmavidbhir ākhyāto brahmalokopapattaye || 24 ||

This is the Way to Brahma’s city; this is the Way Eternal, the Way that is proclaimed by those who know the true dharma, the Way that leads to birth in Brahma’s world. (24)
