This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 67.78

अगमासि देवि आम्रवनं वर्धमानं निरीक्षिका ।
न मे आम्राणि आनेसि न खु ते हं प्रिये प्रियो ॥ ७८ ॥

agamāsi devi āmravanaṃ vardhamānaṃ nirīkṣikā |
na me āmrāṇi ānesi na khu te haṃ priye priyo || 78 ||

“You went, O queen, to see the flourishing mango grove. But you have brought me no mangoes, and so, my dear, you do not love me.” (78)
