This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 64.42

नानाविधानां गन्धानां दिव्यानां मानुषाण च ।
चतुर्दिशाश्रिता वाता बोधिमण्डे प्रवायेन्सु च ॥ ४२ ॥

nānāvidhānāṃ gandhānāṃ divyānāṃ mānuṣāṇa ca |
caturdiśāśritā vātā bodhimaṇḍe pravāyensu ca || 42 ||

The winds that have their homes in the four quarters, redolent of various celestial and earthly scents, blew on the bodhi throne. (42)
