This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 52.70

पिण्डाये चारं चरित्वान निष्क्रम्ये नगरान् मुनिः ।
पाण्डवं अभिसरेसि अत्र वासो भविष्यति ॥ ७० ॥

piṇḍāye cāraṃ caritvāna niṣkramye nagarān muniḥ |
pāṇḍavaṃ abhisaresi atra vāso bhaviṣyati || 70 ||

When he had completed his round for alms, the sage left the town. He made for Pandava, and there would his abode be found. (70)
