This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 12.49

शय्यासनं च विपुलं कारयते पार्थिवो निरुपवद्यं ।
भोजनगिलानप्रच्चयम् ऋषियोग्यं सन्निवेशेति ॥ ४९ ॥

śayyāsanaṃ ca vipulaṃ kārayate pārthivo nirupavadyaṃ |
bhojanagilānapraccayam ṛṣiyogyaṃ sanniveśeti || 49 ||

The king also caused to be made an abundance of couches and seats of faultless workmanship, and prepared the requisites of food and medicines befitting seers. (49)
