This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 7.48

साधु साधु धुतधर्मकोविदा शास्तु शासनकरा अनन्यथा ।
भाषसे गुणम् अनन्तबुद्धिनो जेतवने नरमरू सुतोषिता ॥ ४८ ॥

sādhu sādhu dhutadharmakovidā śāstu śāsanakarā ananyathā |
bhāṣase guṇam anantabuddhino jetavane naramarū sutoṣitā || 48 ||

“Hail, hail to him who is an expert in piety, who is the infallible expositor of the Master’s teaching. You have proclaimed the worth of him whose wisdom is infinite. Men and devas have found joy in the excellent Conqueror. (48)
