The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

शुक्लपक्षस्थितो व्योम्नि कुमुदाकरभासकः ।
आह्लादयति चेतांसि हंसश्चन्द्र इवोत्थितः ॥ ३७ ॥
śuklapakṣasthito vyomni kumudākarabhāsakaḥ |
āhlādayati cetāṃsi haṃsaścandra ivotthitaḥ || 37 ||
The swan soaring in the sky, with his snow white wings and feathers;appears as the hoary lotus sitting upon its stalk; and then it gladdens the minds of men, as the full-moon with her icy beams.
