The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

पार्श्वस्थचारुशशिमण्डलमण्डनेषु विश्रान्तवारिगुरुवारिदवारणेषु ।
ग्रामेषु या गिरितटेषु विलासलक्ष्मी राज्येषु सा विभववत्सु कुतो विरिंचेः ॥ ४४ ॥

pārśvasthacāruśaśimaṇḍalamaṇḍaneṣu viśrāntavāriguruvāridavāraṇeṣu |
grāmeṣu yā giritaṭeṣu vilāsalakṣmī rājyeṣu sā vibhavavatsu kuto viriṃceḥ || 44 ||

The bright orb of the moon appearing on one side, and the dark clouds rising as huge elephants on the other; serve to embellish the village in the valley, and the hills in the skirts, with a beauty unknown in the heavenly kingdom of Brahma:
