1) grāmaśabdo yaṃ bahvarthaḥ . astyeva śālāsamudāye vartate . tadyathā . grāma dagdha iti . asti vāṭaparikṣepe vartate . tadyathā . grāmaṃ praviṣṭa iti . asti manuṣyeṣu vartate . tadyathā grāmo gato grāma āgata iti . asti sāraṇyake sasīmake sasthaṇḍilake vartate . tadyathā . grāmo labdha iti [Patañjali] in [MAHĀBH. 321. 409.] Nach dem Scholiasten zu [Pāraskara’s Gṛhyasūtrāṇi 1, 9, 3] ist grāmaḥ = vṛddhastriyaḥ, svakulavṛddhastriyaḥ . —
