The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

आत्मीयान्यन्यदीयानि तेषां वीक्ष्यबलान्यलम् ।
क्षीणानीव मुमुक्षूणां पुण्यपापानि धावताम् ॥ ५ ॥

ātmīyānyanyadīyāni teṣāṃ vīkṣyabalānyalam |
kṣīṇānīva mumukṣūṇāṃ puṇyapāpāni dhāvatām || 5 ||

The king beheld his forces and those of his enemies, to be as exhausted at the end; as the merits and demerits of a man are lost up on his ultimate liberation.
