The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

दर्दुराद्रौ दुरन्तेषु दरदीर्णहृदन्तराः ।
दरीरन्ध्रेषु संलीना दरदा दानवा इव ॥ ३ ॥

dardurādrau duranteṣu daradīrṇahṛdantarāḥ |
darīrandhreṣu saṃlīnā daradā dānavā iva || 3 ||

Then the demon-like Darads, who dwell in the caverns of the distant Dardura mountains, were pierced in their breasts, and fled from the field with their heart rending sorrow.
