The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.80.22

तानि तस्य मुखान्याहुस्तपद्रूपाणि सर्वतः ।
कर्मेन्द्रियाणि विषयास्ते हि तस्य भुजा दश ॥ २२ ॥

tāni tasya mukhānyāhustapadrūpāṇi sarvataḥ |
karmendriyāṇi viṣayāste hi tasya bhujā daśa || 22 ||

The external organs of sense (together with their objects and faculties), and the five members of his body, are represented by his ten arms on both sides of his body.
