The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.73.17

प्रकाशमणुमात्मानं पश्यंस्तदनुभावतः ।
उच्छूनतां चेतयते बीजमङ्कुरतामिव ॥ १७ ॥

prakāśamaṇumātmānaṃ paśyaṃstadanubhāvataḥ |
ucchūnatāṃ cetayate bījamaṅkuratāmiva || 17 ||

It then finds its minute self, springing out distinctly in its own conception; just as a seed is found to sprout forth in its germ.
