The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अहंत्वबीजादणुतो जायतेऽसौ जगद्द्रुमः ।
तस्येन्द्रियरसाढ्यानि मूलानि भुवनानि हि ॥ १२ ॥

ahaṃtvabījādaṇuto jāyate'sau jagaddrumaḥ |
tasyendriyarasāḍhyāni mūlāni bhuvanāni hi || 12 ||

The great arbour of the worlds, grows out of the particle of egoism;the organs of sense are the succulent roots of this tree; and the far overspreading orbs of the sky, are the many divergent branches of the main arbour of the mundane world.
