The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

दशवर्षसहस्राणि राज्यं कृत्वा महीतले ।
सहचूडालया राम विरतो देहधारणात् ॥ २६ ॥

daśavarṣasahasrāṇi rājyaṃ kṛtvā mahītale |
sahacūḍālayā rāma virato dehadhāraṇāt || 26 ||

He reigned over his realm, for the period of a thousand and ten rains; and desisted from bearing the burthen of their bodies, and expired together with his royal consort about the same time.
