The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

तद्वीर्यं कल्पकालाग्निगलितेन्दुद्रवोपमम् ।
रसानां पारदादीनां दिव्यानामनुरञ्जनम् ॥ ८ ॥

tadvīryaṃ kalpakālāgnigalitendudravopamam |
rasānāṃ pāradādīnāṃ divyānāmanurañjanam || 8 ||

His virile strength which was as hot as fire, resembled the molten moon melted down by the flame of the final conflagration; and as liquified as the fluid quick-silver or other metallic solution.
