प्राणः शरीरविलये प्रयाति व्योमवायुताम् ।
यथा वासितमेवेदं सर्वं पश्यति तत्र वा ॥ ४२ ॥

prāṇaḥ śarīravilaye prayāti vyomavāyutām |
yathā vāsitamevedaṃ sarvaṃ paśyati tatra vā || 42 ||

The body being destroyed, the breath passes into the vacuous air;where it sees everything according to the desires, which it has wafted along with it, from the cells of the heart and mind.
