The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

यामपक्षदिनप्रेक्षाकटाक्षोद्भासिताम्बरम् ।
मज्जनोन्मज्जनव्यग्रकुलाद्रिकुलशेखरम् ॥ २७ ॥

yāmapakṣadinaprekṣākaṭākṣodbhāsitāmbaram |
majjanonmajjanavyagrakulādrikulaśekharam || 27 ||

The shining sky with its sight of the days and watches, and its eyes of the twinkling stars; is witnessing the continual rise and fall of all being, and the plunging and up heaving of mountaintops at the great deluge.
