The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

स्वयं भवति रागात्मा रञ्जको रञ्जनं रजः ।
स्वयमाकाशमप्याशु कुड्यं भवति मण्डितम् ॥ ७ ॥

svayaṃ bhavati rāgātmā rañjako rañjanaṃ rajaḥ |
svayamākāśamapyāśu kuḍyaṃ bhavati maṇḍitam || 7 ||

He becomes the colour, colouring and colouror;He becomes as high as the lofty sky, and as low as the lowly hut.
