The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.3.15

अन्तर्व्योमामलो बाह्ये सम्यगाचारचञ्चुरः ।
हर्षामर्षविकारेषु काष्ठलोष्टसमस्थितिः ॥ १५ ॥

antarvyomāmalo bāhye samyagācāracañcuraḥ |
harṣāmarṣavikāreṣu kāṣṭhaloṣṭasamasthitiḥ || 15 ||

He who remains with the internal purity of his vacant mind, although he observes the customary differences of external things, remains yet as unaffected by the feelings of pain and pleasure, as the insensible block of wood and stone.
