The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

सकृत्प्रभातं विमलं यज्ज्ञातं ज्ञातमेव तत् ।
नहि बन्धुः परिज्ञातः पुनरज्ञाततां व्रजेत् ॥ ७२ ॥

sakṛtprabhātaṃ vimalaṃ yajjñātaṃ jñātameva tat |
nahi bandhuḥ parijñātaḥ punarajñātatāṃ vrajet || 72 ||

The pure and luminous soul being once known, is never to be lost sight-of, as a friend being once known, is never thought to be a foe.
