The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

उपशमपदवीमिवानुरूपां कमलजविश्रमणाय योग्यरूपाम् ।
कुसुमनिकरकोमलाभिरामां सरसिजकोटरकोमलां समन्तात् ॥ ५४ ॥

upaśamapadavīmivānurūpāṃ kamalajaviśramaṇāya yogyarūpām |
kusumanikarakomalābhirāmāṃ sarasijakoṭarakomalāṃ samantāt || 54 ||

It was as the abode of tranquillity, and the resting place of the lord of creation; it was charming by the variety of its blooming blossoms, and was as soft and mild as the cell of the lotus.
