The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

वरमाप्नोति यो वापि विष्णोरमिततेजसः ।
तेन स्वस्यैव तत्प्राप्तं फलमभ्यासशाखिनः ॥ ३४ ॥

varamāpnoti yo vāpi viṣṇoramitatejasaḥ |
tena svasyaiva tatprāptaṃ phalamabhyāsaśākhinaḥ || 34 ||

He who obtains his boon from the all powerful god, gets it in reward of his merit; as a fruit of the tree of his long practice.
