The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

समुदेतु वसन्तो वा वातु वा प्रलयानिलः ।
भावाभावविहीनस्य किमभ्यागतमात्मनः ॥ ८ ॥

samudetu vasanto vā vātu vā pralayānilaḥ |
bhāvābhāvavihīnasya kimabhyāgatamātmanaḥ || 8 ||

Whether the season of the spring appears or not, or a hurricane happens to blow or subside; it is nothing to the pure soul, which is clear of all connection whatever.
