The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

रोमराजीलताजालं यस्येमं देहदुर्द्रुमम् ।
अनर्थौघो हरत्युच्चैर्मरणं तस्य राजते ॥ ४२ ॥

romarājīlatājālaṃ yasyemaṃ dehadurdrumam |
anarthaugho haratyuccairmaraṇaṃ tasya rājate || 42 ||

He whose mind is festered by the weeds of cares, growing as rank as his hair on the body; and who is subject to the incessant evils of life, is the man that welcomes death for his relief.
