The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

मूर्खलोकमयी सृष्टिर्मन एवासदुत्थितम् ।
यः शक्तो न वशीकर्तुं नासौ रामोपदिश्यते ॥ ११३ ॥

mūrkhalokamayī sṛṣṭirmana evāsadutthitam |
yaḥ śakto na vaśīkartuṃ nāsau rāmopadiśyate || 113 ||

He who is not able to govern his mind, and efface the thoughts of this false world, arising in the minds of the ignorant only; is not worthy of being advised in the abstruse doctrines of spirituality.
