The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

वीतरागो निरायासो विमलो वीतकल्मषः ।
नादाता न परित्यागी विज्वरो भव राघव ॥ ४७ ॥

vītarāgo nirāyāso vimalo vītakalmaṣaḥ |
nādātā na parityāgī vijvaro bhava rāghava || 47 ||

Be unimpassioned and unperturbed with earthly cares; be pure and sinless, and neither be penurious nor prodigal, if you will be freed from the fever heat of this world.
