The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 4.27.12

तदाकर्ण्याखिलं ब्रह्मा विचार्य स विचारवित् ।
उवाचेदं सुरानीकमाश्वासनकरं वचः ॥ १२ ॥

tadākarṇyākhilaṃ brahmā vicārya sa vicāravit |
uvācedaṃ surānīkamāśvāsanakaraṃ vacaḥ || 12 ||

The judging Brahma having heard and considered all this, delivered the following encouraging words to the host of gods before him.
