The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अनलाननिलांश्चैव भक्षकांस्तक्षकानपि ।
वञ्चयित्वा भयान्मृत्योः सदारोऽहं विनिर्गतः ॥ ७ ॥

analānanilāṃścaiva bhakṣakāṃstakṣakānapi |
vañcayitvā bhayānmṛtyoḥ sadāro'haṃ vinirgataḥ || 7 ||

We passed the pit-falls and storms, and the wild beasts and snakes, without any harm; and came out of that forest safe from all the deadly perils of the way.
