The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अथोवाच सभा देव किमेतदिति सादरम् ।
रणन्मधुकरी भानुं दृष्टराहुमिवालिनी ॥ ७ ॥

athovāca sabhā deva kimetaditi sādaram |
raṇanmadhukarī bhānuṃ dṛṣṭarāhumivālinī || 7 ||

The Courtiers then respectfully asked the king, what was the matter with him; with a voice as sweet as the lotus utters to the sun when he is eclipsed by Rahu.
