The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
इत्युक्तवान्स भगवान्मया कमलसंभवः ।
रघूद्वह पुनः पृष्टो वाक्यमाक्षिप्य भूतपः ॥ १ ॥

śrīvasiṣṭha uvāca |
ityuktavānsa bhagavānmayā kamalasaṃbhavaḥ |
raghūdvaha punaḥ pṛṣṭo vākyamākṣipya bhūtapaḥ || 1 ||

Vasishtha added:—Now hear, O support of Raghu's race! what I next proposed to the lotus-born lord Brahma, after we had finished the preceding conversation.
