The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

त्यजत्याशु मृदित्यज्ञः प्राप्यापि कनकाङ्गदम् ।
मया सूचित्वलोभेन संत्यक्तं भासुरं वपुः ॥ ३३ ॥

tyajatyāśu mṛdityajñaḥ prāpyāpi kanakāṅgadam |
mayā sūcitvalobhena saṃtyaktaṃ bhāsuraṃ vapuḥ || 33 ||

The ignorant are found to throw away a golden jewel, as useless on the ground as a piece of glass; and so have I cast aside my shining body, for a bit of this blackest needle.
