The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.50.15

शङ्कुशङ्कितसूत्कारकाशिशूलशिलाशतम् ।
भुशुण्डीनिर्जितोद्दण्डभिन्दिपालोग्रमण्डलम् ॥ १५ ॥

śaṅkuśaṅkitasūtkārakāśiśūlaśilāśatam |
bhuśuṇḍīnirjitoddaṇḍabhindipālogramaṇḍalam || 15 ||

The truncheons (Sankus) were blowing away the falchions (asis); and the spontoons (sulas) were warding off the stones of the slings. The crow bars (bhusundis) broke down the pointed heads of the pikes.
