The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.36.6

अश्वौघो मिलदश्वानां वृन्देनाराविरंहसा ।
तरङ्गौघेन घोषेण तरङ्गौघ इवार्णवे ॥ ६ ॥

aśvaugho miladaśvānāṃ vṛndenārāviraṃhasā |
taraṅgaughena ghoṣeṇa taraṅgaugha ivārṇave || 6 ||

As one forest clasps and clings to another, and one hill is linked with the other in a range, so the duelists strove together, as one wave dashes against the other.
