The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

विविधव्यूहविन्यासवान्तवीरवरारवम् ।
करप्रतोलनोल्लासमत्तमुद्गरमण्डलम् ॥ २३ ॥

vividhavyūhavinyāsavāntavīravarāravam |
karapratolanollāsamattamudgaramaṇḍalam || 23 ||

Thus a tremendous noise was raised by the warriors of the many legions, and a multitude of big mallets were seen to be raised on high by the hands of the combatants.
