The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.2.6

ततस्तत्सदनं यावन्मृत्युः प्रविशति स्वयम् ।
तावदेनं दहत्यग्निः कल्पान्तज्वलनोपमः ॥ ६ ॥

tatastatsadanaṃ yāvanmṛtyuḥ praviśati svayam |
tāvadenaṃ dahatyagniḥ kalpāntajvalanopamaḥ || 6 ||

But as he was about to enter the house, he was opposed by a gorgeous flame of fire, like the conflagration of final destruction on the last day of the dissolution of the world.
