The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

देवलोकादिहागत्य लोकद्वयहितं भवेत् ।
प्राक्तनं पौरुषं तद्वै दैवशब्देन कथ्यते ॥ ३५ ॥

devalokādihāgatya lokadvayahitaṃ bhavet |
prāktanaṃ pauruṣaṃ tadvai daivaśabdena kathyate || 35 ||
