The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 2.1.27

परिज्ञातस्वभावं तं शुकं स जनको नृपः ।
आनीतं मुदितात्मानमवलोक्य ननाम ह ॥ २७ ॥

parijñātasvabhāvaṃ taṃ śukaṃ sa janako nṛpaḥ |
ānītaṃ muditātmānamavalokya nanāma ha || 27 ||

The prince Janaka having thus known the (unalterable) disposition of Suka's mind, had him introduced to his presence, where seeing the complacency of his soul, he rose up and bowed down to him.
