The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

मनो मे भ्रमतीवेदं संभ्रमश्चोपजायते ।
गात्राणि परिकम्पन्ते पत्राणीव जरत्तरोः ॥ २ ॥

mano me bhramatīvedaṃ saṃbhramaścopajāyate |
gātrāṇi parikampante patrāṇīva jarattaroḥ || 2 ||

My mind is wandering everywhere and I am struck with fear at every thing; my limbs are shaking with fear like the leaves of a withered tree.
