The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

वयं परिमिताकारपरिनिष्ठितनिश्चयाः ।
संसाराभ्रतडित्पुञ्जे मुने नायुषि निर्वृताः ॥ ४ ॥

vayaṃ parimitākārapariniṣṭhitaniścayāḥ |
saṃsārābhrataḍitpuñje mune nāyuṣi nirvṛtāḥ || 4 ||

We that have certain belief of our being but limited beings, can have no enjoyment in our transient lives, which are but flashes of lightnings amidst the cloudy sky of the world.
