Rig Veda 8.12.32
Sanskrit text [Accents, Plain, Transliterated]:
यद॑स्य॒ धाम॑नि प्रि॒ये स॑मीची॒नासो॒ अस्व॑रन् । नाभा॑ य॒ज्ञस्य॑ दो॒हना॒ प्राध्व॒रे ॥
यदस्य धामनि प्रिये समीचीनासो अस्वरन् । नाभा यज्ञस्य दोहना प्राध्वरे ॥
yad asya dhāmani priye samīcīnāso asvaran | nābhā yajñasya dohanā prādhvare ||
English translation:
“When the congregated (worshippers) praise him aloud in a plural ce that plural ases (him) on the navel (of theearth), in the spot where the libation is effused at the sacrifice, (then).”
Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya
Then: tadānīm dhanam pradehi:connects the verse with what follows-- uttaratra sambandha; nābhā yajñasya dohanā prādhvare: the navelis the altar (pṛthivyā nābhisthānīye);
