वैश्यात्तु जायते व्रात्यात्सुधन्वाऽचार्य एव च ।
कारुषश्च विजन्मा च मैत्रः सात्वत एव च ॥ २३ ॥

vaiśyāttu jāyate vrātyātsudhanvā'cārya eva ca |
kāruṣaśca vijanmā ca maitraḥ sātvata eva ca || 23 ||
