Consisting of 18 books, the Mahabharata details the history and legends concerning ancient India (Bharata), including a major battle campaign involving the Kauravas and the Pandavas, also known as the Kurukshetra War. निषधं चापि पश्यामि श्वेतं च रजताचितम् ।
पश्यामि च महीपाल पर्वतं गन्धमादनम् ॥ १०२ ॥

niṣadhaṃ cāpi paśyāmi śvetaṃ ca rajatācitam |
paśyāmi ca mahīpāla parvataṃ gandhamādanam || 102 ||
