तदा जय-जयारवो
बभूव जन-मण्डले
ववृषुः पुष्प-वर्षानि
देवता गगन-स्थिताः
tadā jaya-jayāravo
babhūva jana-maṇḍale
vavṛṣuḥ puṣpa-varṣāni
devatā gagana-sthitāḥ
tadā—then; jaya-jayāravaḥ—sounds of Jaya! Jaya!; babhūva—were; jana-maṇḍale—in the circle of the people; vavṛṣuḥ—showered; puṣpa—of flowers; varṣāni—showers; devatā—the demigods; gagana-sthitāḥ—in the sky.
English translation of verse 4.7.23:
Then the people shouted, "Jaya! Jaya!" and the demigods in the sky showered flowers.
