भ्रमर-ध्वनि-सम्युक्ते
सुगन्धानिल-वासिते
कालिन्दी-निकटे कृष्णो
विचचार प्रियान्वितः
bhramara-dhvani-samyukte
sugandhānila-vāsite
kālindī-nikaṭe kṛṣṇo
vicacāra priyānvitaḥ
bhramara—of bumblebees; dhvani—the sounds; samyukte—with; sugandha—fragrant; anila—breeze; vāsite—scented; kālindī—the Yamunā; nikaṭe—near; kṛṣṇaḥ—Kṛṣṇa; vicacāra—went; priyā—His beloved; anvitaḥ—with.
English translation of verse 2.23.3:
With His beloved, Lord Kṛṣṇa walked by the Yamunā, which was filled with the sounds of bees and scented with a fragrant breeze.
