चकार कृष्णः किल राज-मण्डलीं
गोपाल-बालैः पुरतः प्रपूरितैः
अनेक-वर्णैर् वसनैः प्रकल्पितैर्
मध्ये स्थितो पीत-पटेन भूषिताः
cakāra kṛṣṇaḥ kila rāja-maṇḍalīṃ
gopāla-bālaiḥ purataḥ prapūritaiḥ
aneka-varṇair vasanaiḥ prakalpitair
madhye sthito pīta-paṭena bhūṣitāḥ
cakāra—made; kṛṣṇaḥ—Kṛṣṇa; kila—indeed; rāja-maṇḍalīm—a royal circle; gopāla-bālaiḥ—with gopa boys; purataḥ—in the presence; prapūritaiḥ—filled; aneka-varṇaiḥ—with many different kinds; vasanaiḥ—with garments; prakalpitaiḥ—made; madhye—in the middle; sthitaḥ—situated; pīta-paṭena—with a yellow garment; bhūṣitāḥ—decorated.
English translation of verse 2.7.12:
With the gopa boys dressed in garments of many colors, Kṛṣṇa made a royal circle, with Himself, dressed in yellow, in the center.
