शत-वारं चोज्जहार
गिरिम् उत्पत्य दैत्य-राट्
पुनस् तत्र स्थितं रामं
क्रोध-सम्रक्त-लोचनम्
प्रलयार्क-प्रभं दृट्ट्वा
ननाम शिरसा मुनिम्
पुनः प्रदक्षिणी-कृत्यो
तद्-अङ्घ्र्योर् निपपात ह
śata-vāraṃ cojjahāra
girim utpatya daitya-rāṭ
punas tatra sthitaṃ rāmaṃ
krodha-samrakta-locanam
pralayārka-prabhaṃ dṛṭṭvā
nanāma śirasā munim
punaḥ pradakṣiṇī-kṛtyo
tad-aṅghryor nipapāta ha
śata—a hundred; vāram—times; ca—also; ujjahāra—lifting; girim—the hill; utpatya—uprooting; daitya-rāṭ—the king of mountains; punaḥ—again; tatra—there; sthitam—placed; rāmam—rāma; krodha—with anger; samrakta—red; locanam—eyes; pralaya—of devastation; arka—of the sun; prabham—the splendor; dṛṭṭvā—seeing; nanāma—bowed down; śirasā—with his head; munim—to the sage; punaḥ—again; pradakṣiṇī-kṛtyaḥ—circumambulating; tad-aṅghryoḥ—at His feet; nipapāta—fell; ha—certainly.
English translation of verse 1.6.32:
A hundred times the demon-king Kaṃsa uprooted the mountain, held it high, and set it again in its place. When he saw Lord Paraśurāma, who was as effulgent as the sun at the time of cosmic dissolution, and whose eyes were now red with anger, Kaṃsa bowed his head before the sage, circumambulated Him, and fell at His feet.
