Verse 1.4.7

Sanskrit text, Unicode transliteration, Word-for-word and English translation of verse 1.4.7:

कृष्णेनाविर्भूय तीरे महाब्धेः स्वाङ्के कृत्वा लालितो मातृवद् यः ।
ब्रह्मेशादीनः कुर्वतोऽपि स्तवौघं पद्मां चानादृत्य सम्मानितो यः ॥ ७ ॥

kṛṣṇenāvirbhūya tīre mahābdheḥ svāṅke kṛtvā lālito mātṛvad yaḥ |
brahmeśādīnaḥ kurvato'pi stavaughaṃ padmāṃ cānādṛtya sammānito yaḥ || 7 ||

(When your father cast you into the ocean) Śrī Kṛṣṇa personally appeared upon the shore of that vast ocean, placed you upon His lap, and tenderly caressed you like a mother. Disregarding various praises and glorifications by such demigods as Brahmā and Maheśa, He affectionately honored you with tender caresses.

Bhagavān Śrī Narahari, with licks, embraces and so on, nurtured you. Śrī Hari-bhakti-sudhodaya (14.13) depicts it like this:

ततः क्षिताव् एव निविश्य नाथः कृत्वा तम् अङ्के स्व-जनैक-बन्दुः
शनैर् विदुन्वन् कर-पल्लवेन स्पृशन् मुहुर् मातृ-वद् आलिलिङ्ग

tataḥ kṣitāv eva niviśya nāthaḥ kṛtvā tam aṅke sva-janaika-banduḥ
śanair vidunvan kara-pallavena spṛśan muhur mātṛ-vad āliliṅga

Afterwards, Śrī Narahari, dearmost friend of His devotees, positioned you on His lap like a mother, then kissed and embraced you, that is, by His own lotus hands He caressed and licked your body again and again.

Regardless, Bhagavān did not honor demigods such as Brahmā, Maheśa and other devotees such as Garuḍa, nor did He honor His dearmost Lakṣmī. Rather, by His graceful glance (kṛpā-dṛṣṭi), He placed you on His lapt and tenderly caressed you. By this, He directly honored you.
